As I have entered the world of journalism I have not madeĀ much money. But, I have found my that my obsessive online research has helped me get stuff for free.
I currently get four magazines, coupons and the occasional pack of hot dogs all for being a big internet nerd.
Right now I’m trying to get a free faucet from centsationalgirl. All I have to do is mention them in this article. I’d much rather be making more money, but getting a free faucet is pretty sweet. Good luck to me.

I can’t help neglecting to update my blog. I blame Firefox and Google Reader allowing me to directly post to Facebook or Twitter without leaving Reader. Sorry WordPress, you are not that fun.

I really love Firefox addons. Maybe too much, because I subsribe to the RSS of new Firefox addons.
Shannon, from my college pager, said she does not like Firefox, but I bet IE does not have some of these great things for journalists.
FlagFox – a flag in the Awesome bar is created for each website of what country they site is running from. If you click on the flag it takes you to a Geotool page that gives info about the hosting site.
Fastdial – when I open a new tab it shows links to my most used sites.
Read it later – for sites I want to view again, but I don’t need to bookmark. It can also be sinked to multiple computers.
Twitterfox and Twitterbar – making twitter an easy part of firefox.
Right-click-link – for lazy blogger who do not put links in there posts. You select text, right click and can make it a link.

I’m not very good at drawings, but I really like to use sketches and whatnot in my work.
This new site DoInk lets people create and share illustrations and animations. It’s still new, but it maybe a way to have work created for your site.
